9th Grade Faith Formation Classes 9th grade youth

Freshmen in High School meet on Wed. nights from 6:30-8:00pm for their Faith Formation classes and youth ministry opportunities through our Bi-parish CYO program.  We begin in September and conclude the weekly classes at the end of April.  Opportunities to be involved in the life of the church are always available year-round.  Young people should consider some of these options:  Totally Yours; our Sr. High youth group that meets on Wed. nights from 8:15-9:30pm after our regular classtime.  TY is a time for fun, fellowship, faith and food!!  Come and join us anytime.  We usually meet in Rm. 207 of SMS.  Retreats are another opportunity to grow in the faith and we offer several options each year.  We also have our own retreat team that you can join to help lead retreats around the diocese.  Young people can also be involved in the weekend liturgies of their parishes as readers, ushers, greeters, musicians or singers.  Eucharistic ministry is reserved to those who have been fully initiated (have celebrated baptism, eucharist and confirmation)

We have a new curriculum for the 9th grade classes this year.  They will be studying the CREED.  This is a great opportunity to reflect on what it is that we believe and profess as people of faith.
