WOW half the year is over already!!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and that all were blessed to spend some quiet family time together.

OUr Grades 1-6 were invited to the Jesus Birthday party and we went caroling to various assisted living places what a fun time that was!! The audience really enjoyed the children, this was the second year we have done this with students and teachers and every location that I contacted was so happy that we were returning so great job teachers and students you made a lot of people happy before Christmas!!!

We have now returned and settled in for the last half of the year and will be working on Unit 2 which will lead us through the Mass. We will learn or review each part of the Mass beginning with the Introductory Rites, then spending a few weeks in the Liturgy of the Word were we will do scripture activities. We will also spend time with the Liturgy of the Eucharist and will focus alot of our support onto the second graders who will be making thier First Communion in April!!

5th & 6th graders will have a guest speaker who will share with us his vocation into the priest hood and we will be discussing our role through the sacrament of Baptism and how we can better serve the church.
